Miamisburg Rotary Donation to Campus Quest
Several members of the Miamisburg Rotary took to the field Friday night (August 28 2015) during the half-time of the Miamisburg Vikings football home opener.  In a special presentation, the Rotarians presented a check for $51,633.65 to the Miamisburg City School District Campus Quest Project.  The Campus Quest Project is a privately funded (no tax dollars) plan to construct a new sports complex, including a 5400 seat stadium, on the Miamisburg High School grounds.
The donation to Campus Quest is the largest single contribution ever made by the Miamisburg Rotary Club.  Earlier this year, The Miamisburg Rotary Club made another significant donation of $40,076.00 to the Plaza Theatre Project.  Additionally, over $12,000.00 was donated to several community organizations.
These were made possible by donations from our member base and friends of the Miamisburg Rotary Club.  Other fund raising efforts include our Annual Esther Philhower Charitable Auction in the spring and the upcoming Riverblast on Saturday, September 5, 2015 where our volunteers will be selling cotton candy, water and soft drinks.  Our oldest fund raising program is our Annual Pancake Day Breakfast which is held on the first Saturday in December.  Funds raised through the efforts of Miamisburg Rotarians, families and friends allow us to give back to our community.
The Miamisburg Rotary Club is a service organization made up of business people and professionals that has been an integral part of the Miamisburg Community since 1922.  Our motto is, “Service above self”.  We take great pride in being able to give back to our community and make continued improvements.
